Does he likes me as a friend offline?

met my online friend through facebook, talked to him about a week and since we are students, we met up and it was initially awkward for us. later he chatted sometimes and smile lots even when what i say is not funny. we also remained silent for quite some time too (is that bad?), and we even went to movies after lunch. so was enjoyable cuz we laughed a lot but no much talking done. so was wondering if online friend likes me as a friend. thanks
